We are delighted to announce the 2025 APHA Zone 5 Scholarship recipient, Paige Newcomb. Paige recently completed her third year at the University of Manitoba, pursuing an Environmental Science degree with a concentration in Conservation and Biodiversity. Outside of her studies, Paige can be seen with her horse, Dori, in all-around events. Paige is the daughter of Scott and Krista Newcomb, who reside in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She graduated from Mahtomedi High School. Below photograph taken by Staci Wiesner, capturing Paige showing Chappell Rose for her friend, Tanner VanLith. MPHA The purpose of the Minnesota Paint Horse Association is to promote and stimulate interest in the Paint Horse by encouraging Paint Horse classes in all horse shows pleasure and trail riding and all activities of the same nature in every way possible. This is accomplished by promoting good horsemanship and good sportsmanship and by educating the public about the qualities of the Paint Horse and the American Paint Horse Association.
