AS220 AS220 is a nonprofit community arts organization located in downtown Providence Rhode Island. We provide all people in Rhode Island affordable access to galleries performance venues educational opportunities residential spaces and work studios needed to realize their full creative potential. Since 2019 AS220 has been engaged in a Racial Justice Initiative to help us navigate our growth into an antiracist organization. This work is foundational to our vision for a just and equitable world where all people can realize their full creative potential.

It gives me great joy to let you know that the Paul Krot Community Darkroom will be holding a grand reopening celebration and open house on Saturday, May 10th, from 2 - 4 PM. Details at AS220 Darkroom Grand Reopening. After having been taken offline at the end of 2022 to deal with facilities issues and equipment upgrades, the darkroom is back and ready to welcome seasoned photography vets, fresh newcomers, and curious folks who just want a peek at how a real darkroom functions.
