For many youth, graduation isn’t just about crossing the stage, it’s about overcoming years of struggle and hardship. One of our students, who faced unimaginable challenges: losing her father, dealing with family instability, and feeling alone in her journey, still managed to keep her head up and achieve a 3.2 GPA. Through coaching, mentorship, and a collaborative effort with school counselors and social workers, this young woman made it to college, despite every obstacle in her way. We even took an early morning road trip to Jackson, Tennessee, in order to get her to school on time for orientation. This is what Outreach’s ARCH coaching is all about. We don’t just help youth graduate, we help them see what's possible for their future.
