Want to take a moment to "dish" out some thanks to these folks ! We held our spring / end of season Trail Captain & Groomer Operator P-A-R-T-Y..... ...NO meeting here, no instructions, no directions, no problem solving, no re-routes, no mud holes, no water hazards.... Just a simple meet up for dinner and refreshments. Our favorite after hours "meet up" spot, at the almost dead geographic center of the NESS trail system C.C.’s Heroes Tap & Tavern hosted our evening of appreciation ! We can't thank C.C.’s Heroes Tap & Tavern enough for making special arrangements to accommodate all us. It's a super simple night out for the hardest of hard, devoted workers of NESS ! Show up, get your arm band, and NESS takes care of 'ya for a few hours. We pull out the stops when it comes to taking care of these guys. With 23 Trail Captains, and 10 Groomer Operators, it seems like a big crowd, but when you consider they are responsible for 120+ miles of trail in 3 counties, it kinda puts things into perspective. It was a great night, awesome food, cold drinks, interesting stories and lots of laughs. ....Thanks guys...... without you guys, none of what we have been able to accomplish would have happened !!!
