Serving the Homeless in the Franciscan Tradition Brother David Buer offfounder of Poverello House At Poverello House we do care and try to help the homeless men and women in our community. We provide meals showers laundry facilities and clothing for both men and women. As one guest said to me I feel like an actual human being again when Im here Many of our guests feel rejected by the world at large and have given up hope for a better life. We try to give them hope and help them feel better about themselves by providing a respit from life on the streets.
