Grupo Folklórico Raices Mestizas Grupo Folklorico Raices Mestizas Raices Mestizas Our HistoryGrupo Folklorico Raices Mestizas was formed in 2018 but is made up of students and parents who have been dancing folklorico in our community of Watsonville for many years our new group was formed to continue the work of promoting our cultural heritage to the community through traditional Mexican dance. Currently we have 50 families supporting 96 students. We have a beginnersintermediate group and an advanced group. We perform as often as we can with one major show during the year at the local performing arts center and various smaller events for private parties public events and as part of collaborations with other local groups.
