California Association of Mental Health Peer-Run Organizations California Association of Mental Health PeerRun Organizations CAMHPRO was founded in 2012 and is a 501c3 nonprofit incorporated consumerrun statewide organization consisting of member entities established independent and successful consumerrun organizations and individual consumer members or peers. The specific purpose of CAMHPRO is to promote the work and mission of peerrun organizations devoted to advocacy and empowerment for mental health consumers. CAMHPRO advocates for organizations and individual peers within counties regions statewide and nationally. As an association of peerrun organizations CAMHPRO facilitates training and coordinates resources for consumeroperated services peer support and selfhelp programming in diverse communities.
