Youth in foster care face mental health challenges at a significantly higher rate than their peers. Instability, trauma and limited access to varying treatments, piles onto a situation that is already full of stigma and misunderstanding. Today, and everyday, we remind our youth that they are not alone, hope and healing is possible, and that their stories matter.
