Illinois Medical Oncology Society - Welcome to the Illinois Medical Oncology Society Welcome to the Illinois Medical Oncology Society Formed in 1989 the Illinois Medical Oncology Society IMOS represents the common interests of a majority of the oncologists treating cancer in Illinois. As the oncology society in Illinois we strive to provide our members with innovative resources to help them stay ahead of the shifting healthcare landscape and challenges that directly impact the highquality care their patients deserve. IMOS is an American Society of Clinical Oncology affiliated state society. In addition the IMOS is committed to support the search for more effective treatments of malignant diseases work with other organizations and societies that have concerns with cancer care and disseminate information regarding regulatory developments affecting members.
