Your passion for these dogs is the heartbeat of our mission. As many of you know, shelters across Texas are more overcrowded than ever, and rescues — including ours — are feeling the strain. Our volunteer team is small but mighty, and we work tirelessly every day to help as many dogs as we can. We kindly ask that you please refrain from tagging us on social media with euthanasia lists or shelter dogs. We assure you that we are actively monitoring area shelters and have strong working relationships with them. While we appreciate your advocacy, repeated tagging can overwhelm our already limited volunteer resources and slow our ability to focus on the dogs already in our care or in urgent need. If there’s a dog you’re especially concerned about and you’re in a position to open your home as a foster, please reach out — we would love to work with you. Our biggest limitation is always foster space. Without open homes, we simply can’t save more dogs, no matter how much we want to.
