The School teaches the organizing skills necessary to equip people across generations to be active effective and empowered to create real and lasting social political and economic change in this country. The School was founded on the belief that knowledge and education combined with supportinspiration and guidance lead toengaged action andempowerment. People who are empoweredto listen and grow strategize and organize and join with others can combat racism and other forms of oppression assume leadership roles in their communities take bold and visible action for peace and justice locally regionally and nationally talk skillfully and sensitively across lines of difference and express hope and the vision of a just and peaceful world through art.
