Chamber Music Houston PROGRAM Bach Haydn Schubert Strauss Tchaikovsky We celebrate the conclusion of our 65th season with an impressive variety of sextets and trios from monumental composers performed by six superstar musicians from the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. PROGRAM Beethoven Balourdet Quartet opens the season with a tour of Beethovens substantive string quartet landscape 3 11 and 16 the shortest of Beethovens late quartets and his last complete major work. PROGRAM Haydn Pierre Jalbert Mozart Dover Quartet performs a Haydns Quartet 27 followed by two Clarinet Quintets one with guest clarinetist Romie de GuiseLanglois playing a new CMHcocommissioned work by Rice composer Pierre Jalbert then Mozarts K. 581 after.

Many old friends are returning this upcoming season, including the Quatuor Modigliani. Current directors of the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition, their tours brought them to Wigmore Hall, the Paris Philharmonie, the Théâtre des Champs- Elysées, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Saint-Petersburg Philharmonia and the Elbphil-harmonie in Hamburg. Hear them perform their program on Italian period instruments in the fall.
