The Pad Project
Through its partnership with @asancup and Action Foundation for Social Services, The Pad Project is reaching out to more than 4,000 women and girls in the rural areas of Kanakapura in the Indian state of Karnataka. The program focuses on body literacy and free distribution of menstrual cups. In low resource settings with scarce access to water, the menstrual cup caters to the menstrual health needs of women and encourages their continued participation in the workforce.
