Founded in the summer of 2004 by members of the Christian music group Audio Adrenaline, the organization was inspired by fan reaction to the song "Hands and Feet." Initially, they established a children's village in Cyvadier, a small town on Haiti's southern coast. Over time, the project has expanded to multiple locations across the southern peninsula of Haiti.
