GroundSpark under the direction of Debra Chasnoff 19572017 made awardwinning documentary films for three decades on social justice issues ranging from preventing bullying in schools to stopping the production of nuclear weapons. Today the Debra ChasnoffGroundSpark Catalogue of Films is a project of San Franciscobased documentary media nonprofitCitizen Film. Under the direction of Debra Chasnoffs longtime collaborator Kate Stilley Steiner Citizen Film will continue to distribute the GroundSpark film catalog through New Day Films and future films created under the GroundSpark label will be produced by Citizen Film.
