The Manito show team attended the New England Gypsy Horse Club Gypsy Vanner and Open Breed Horse Show on May 4-5th 2024. It was a wonderful weekend full of teamwork, camaraderie, and fun for our Manito family. The Manito team took home 97 placings and an additional 12 Championships/High Point awards. All three Gyspy Vanners Qualified to go to the Gypsy Vanner Nationals in Texas (Goal for 2025!!!). Thank you to our families that came up to cheer on our riders and horses. Manito attended the New England Gypsy Horse Club Regional show in Cobbleskill, NY this past weekend and had a fantastic show! It was a double pointed show for Gyspy Vanners and had Open Breed classes as well. We took more than 40 ribbons and 5 Championships/Hi point awards. Congratulations to owners Missy Saraceno and Danelle Bittner. IGH Just Another Knockout "Rocky" won his age division halter class, Grand Champion Junior Gelding and Grand Champion Gelding, All ages. He also won top ribbons in In Hand Trail, Liberty, North American Bred In Hand and Color Class. Rocky qualified for the Gypsy Nationals in all divisions shown in. Congratulations to owners Alex Botrus, Danielle Mulligan and Danis Botrus. Ainsley Hot Waffles "Popcorn" was Reserve Grand Champion Senior Gelding In Hand. He also took first in Liberty with a breathtaking performance that had the crowd on their feet. He won Jr. Horse In Hand Trail Obstacles on a very challenging course and Color Class. Popcorn qualified for Gypsy Nationals in all divisions shown in. Congratulations to owner Jessica Williams (Lessee Manito Equestrian Center) for a stellar performance by Zeke. He was shown to first place in All Breed Equitation, Pleasure and Ranch Riding by Zoe Rachor. He was shown to first place in All Breed Leadline Equitation and Pleasure by Alex Botrus. Alex and Zeke were awarded Hi Point Champion for the Leadline Division. Zeke was shown to second place by Allison O'Connor in All Breed Trail over a challenging course, and placed high in Discipline Rail as well. Zeke was awarded All Breed Hi Point Reserve Champion for the show. This show was a truly wonderful experience. More important than ribbons was the memories our Manito family made together. We are truly blessed to have some of the most wonderful and fun clients. A special thank you to our clients and families that drove up to the show to support our horses and riders. We are looking forward to adding another Gypsy Vanner to our show string soon!
