Living History from a New Perspective Historic Shirley is a privately owned family home and working farm lived in by the 11th and 12th generations of the HillCarter family. It has been a pleasure to share the site and history of Shirley our family home with the public for many years. Due to many factors regular tours of Shirleys home and property are no longer feasible and road access to drive by the property will no longer be available. Shirley will open for select days each year which currently include Holiday Sip and Savor with Historic Westover December 15 2024 Historic Garden Week sponsored by the Garden Club of Virginia April 2728 2025 Westover Churchs Autumn Pilgrimage September 2025 We will update our website and social media with any additional opportunities to visit Shirley.
