WHO WE ARE Halifax Urban Ministries is a faithbased nonprofit that has been serving those in need in Volusia and Flagler countiessince 1981 driven by the belief that every person matters to God. While 68 of our funding comes from State and Federal grants the remaining support comes directly from our local community. We are proud to say that 94 of every dollar goes directly toward providing essential services through the following programs These programs reflect HUMsongoing commitment to uplifting and supporting those most vulnerable in our community.
