Pulaski County Imagination Library an affiliate of Dolly Partons Imagination Library Pulaski County Imagination Library strives to create a lifelong love of reading in young children prepare them for school and inspire them to dream more learn more care more and be more by providing developmentally appropriate books to children from birth to five throughout Pulaski County AR. Dolly Partons Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free books to children from birth to age five in participating communities. Inspired by her fathers inability to read and write Dolly started an exciting new effort in 1995 her Imagination Library to benefit the children within her home county in East Tennessee USA. Dollys vision was to foster a love of reading among her countys preschool children and their families by providing them with the gift of a specially selected book each month.
