Michigan Parent Alliance for Safe Schools We are Michigan parents and were Formed in August 2021 MiPASS is a grassroots organization with a mission to protect and advocate for the education and wellbeing of all of Michigans students. We believe that every child deserves access to a highquality safe education and the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are dedicated to advocating for policies that promote equity excellence and success for all of Michigans students. We work together to advocate for meaningful changes to the states education system engaging with policymakers and educators to bring about change at the local and state levels.

Defending Our Librarians: Standing Up Against Harassment Our school librarians play a crucial role in fostering a love for reading and learning among our children. Recently, one of our dedicated librarians, Christine Beachler of Lowell Area Schools, has been subjected to an alleged campaign of harassment and defamation led by Stefanie Boone, a self-described “parental rights” activist. Boone’s actions have allegedly included false and damaging accusations, leading to threats against Ms.
