Catherine McAuley Center | A Place of Welcome Catherine McAuley Center A Place of Welcome The Catherine McAuley Center CMC is a nonprofit organization in Cedar Rapids Iowa that welcomes refugees and immigrants adult learners and women to participate in educational and supportive services. While CMCs programs serve distinct populations they are united by a common purpose of promoting the wellbeing and dignity of individuals in need as Catherine McAuley did. Service Areas Education Services Oneonone tutoring and small group classes for adult learners wanting to expand their knowledge and skills. Refugee and Immigrant Services Support services for refugees and immigrants as they adjust to life in the United States.
