HOME Songs of Survivors WHEN WORDS ARENT ENOUGH MUSIC SPEAKS Songs of Survivors was created in 2019 with a vision to help military veterans recover from trauma through the power of songwriting and music creation. Songs of Survivors facilitates songwriting workshops offering veterans a springboard through which they can turn their stories into songs in a safe and supportive environment. SOSs data collected over five years of working with veterans reveals that music is a powerful tool that can help veterans turn past experiences into a legacy for family and friends.
