GYN Carcinosarcoma (GCS) is a rare cancer that affects the uterus, ovaries and other female reproductive organs. For the first time, researchers at Mass General Cancer Center are focusing on finding a cure.

GCS is also known as MMMT or Malignant Mixed Mullerian Tumor. Carcinosarcoma is unique in that it contains two types of cells Carcinomatous epithelial tissue and sarcomatous connective tissue.
