Veterans TV Inc

Veterans TV Inc is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to providing professional television production and post-production training to veterans of the United States Armed and Uniformed Services, as well as their families. It was established in 2018.

Purpose

The organization aims to equip veterans with the skills necessary for careers in television and media production. This mission is driven by a desire to support veterans transitioning into civilian life, providing them with the tools needed to succeed in the industry.

Training Program

Veterans TV offers a comprehensive training program that includes hands-on experience in television production and post-production. Their training facility includes a 53-foot mobile studio, known as the "Denali Gold" SuperShooter Mobile TV Truck, which serves as a classroom for aspiring professionals.

Major broadcast groups like Sinclair Broadcast Group and Gray Television have committed to interviewing graduates for potential positions within their companies.

The organization's revenue primarily comes from contributions, with no reported income from other sources such as program services or investments. In recent years, it has reported assets of over $1 million and liabilities of less than $25,000.

Leadership

The organization is led by its founder and president, Bob Lefcovich, who has a long-standing career in the television industry. His vision for Veterans TV was inspired by a personal encounter with a homeless veteran, which prompted him to create a program that could offer meaningful career opportunities for those transitioning out of military service.
