As you know, we rescue animals from laboratories and do our very best to get as many as possible into loving, forever homes! We are currently creating a waiting list for rats, and mice so that if/when the time arises, we can place them quickly. Pedicure Day! 💅🐂🐖 OK, it’s not our residents’ favorite day. When @holycowmike’s truck pulls in, you can see and feel the shift. Ghandi stress drools and looks for somewhere to hide. Hollywood grunts and tries to break down his enclosure, then hides (or so he thinks!) behind his wifey, Lucy. But Mike is gentle and quick. In no time at all, both steers and some of the pigs have nicely trimmed feet and tusks and yummy treats in their bellies. We truly hate to see them scared, even momentarily, but it is necessary for their overall health and comfort. Thank you Mike for making it as pleasant as possible and taking great care of our precious feets! We look forward to seeing @legacyshearing next week for the rest of the pigs, goats and llamas! 🐖 🐐 🦙 (fb)
