From the dock to the state house, Island Institute works with partners to ensure local voices shape Maine’s coastal resilience strategy. Over the past several months we teamed up with Maine Sea Grant, Maine Coastal Program, and UMaine MARINE to bring together 450 people from more than 40 coastal towns to share stories, challenges, and lessons learned after last winter’s devastating storms.
