Home Welcome to Koan School Koan School is a nonprofit private school serving students in PK 12th grade. Our mission is to provide a lowcost alternative for private education while keeping class sizes small enough to accommodate the diverse interests and skills of young learners in our community. The school is located on a beautiful 15acre farmstead complete with animals natural ponds and woods for exploring. The main building on the property was converted from a singlefamily home into a charming 5room school house.
