Free Root Operation FRO addresses the root causes of gun violence through a method of critical care encompassing wraparound wellness economic justice and education services for Black women caretakers in the Chicagoland area through our BLOOM Network a fleet of violence prevention programs with its most expansive program being the BLOOM Cohort. These services are foundational pillars of our violence prevention initiatives which are substantiated by research centering communal wisdom. This is the innovative approach behind our operation to restore families and communities impacted by povertyinduced gun violence to safe abundant and liberated sites of Oasis.
