Garner Optimist Club Our Mission Established in 1966 The Optimist Club of Garner is committed to serving the Garner Community through organized youth programs and events to support young people in Garner. Learn More Upcoming Events Every year the Garner Optimist Club awards scholarships to deserving high school students on their way to pursue their post secondary degrees. Applications are due by April 14 2025 to be considered. Top District Finisher receives 2500 Scholarship 2nd Place 1500 3rd Place 1000 Who May Enter Contest is open to contestants under the age of 19 as of October 1 2024 and who have not yet completed secondary school or its equivalent.
