Living Well Cancer Resource Center
Living Well is dedicated to delivering programs and services that encourage, empower, support and offer hope to patients with cancer and their families. All programs and services are provided free of charge because no one should face cancer alone. The mission statement of LivingWell Cancer Resource Center is To provide excellence in health care and to promote lifelong wellness in the communities we serve. Through our program of work, the Center strives to instill knowledge, optimism, and inspiration in people living with cancer. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where people living with cancer can receive psychosocial support services, mind body fitness activities and education to help them live well with cancer. Those we serve find LivingWell a place that nurtures hope, offers encouragement and helps give answers for the many questions that arise. After a cancer diagnosis, the initial reaction may be to withdraw, but it is essential to reach out for social, emotional and spiritual support while managing the physical implications of a diagnosis of cancer.
