YWCA Greater Lafayette is dedicated to eliminating racism empowering women and promoting peace justice freedom and dignity for all. What We Do YWCA Greater Lafayette provides direct services empowerment programming and advocacy to support marginalized individuals and families especially women and girls of color while working to challenge structural barriers to equity. Violence Prevention Education support and advocacy for victims and survivors of assault trafficking and violence.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, but with the right support and resources, it’s preventable. That’s why we offer WISEWOMAN, a program designed to empower women to take control of their heart health and overall wellness. Through WISEWOMAN, participants gain access to free gym memberships, personalized nutrition information, and one-on-one health coaching — all with the goal of building lifelong healthy habits.

In 2024, our dedicated Sexual Assault Advocates supported more survivors than ever before. Available 24/7, our advocates stand beside survivors at medical exams, court hearings, and to provide support as needed. Every survivor deserves to be heard, believed, and supported — and we’re here, day and night, to ensure no one walks alone.
