👏 Kudos to the Blanchard Valley Health System Pharmacy Department, the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Department, and the Carey Police Department for teaming up to host a National Drug Take Back Day event at Harry’s Pharmacy, located within the Carey Medical and Diagnostic Center in Carey, Ohio. This drive-up, drop-off event encouraged community members to dispose of expired or unneeded medications safely. Despite cold and windy weather, this group received 10.2 pounds of medications to be properly and safely incinerated. These efforts helped prevent potentially harmful substances from ending up in the wrong hands or contaminating local landfills and water sources.
