My Inauguration Day As I sit down to write this, I realize that it has been many months since I last posted anything online. While there are a number of reasons for this, the main one is that the Lord has been dealing with me on a number of issues over the last 8 months or so that I have allowed fear to keep me from doing and using all kinds of excuses to “justify” it. Trust me, Moses had nothing on me in that department (Exodus Chapters 3-4) I won’t bore you with the details of all my excuses but suffice it to say that they were plentiful. Most of them started the day I got the call from the owners of All About God telling me that they were taking their ministry in a different direction and starting an online church and wouldn’t be posting anything to Facebook anymore but that I was welcome to continue to do so if I wished. At first, I was all for it, until the Lord stepped in and told me no and that He had a different plan for me and the things He was going to give me in the future. To be honest, that scared the heck out of me. You see, it is one thing to simply contribute to a page that someone else is responsible for, it is quite another to run a ministry of your own (well the Lord’s ministry that He wants you to take care of). One of the problems I have found with being a prophetic voice (not a Prophet) is that He will tell you things but not necessarily the timing of those things and I tend to get excited and then get in front of Him and fall flat on my face. This tends to make one a bit gun shy, wondering whether or not you are hearing correctly or simply feeding your own ego. I have always said I will never have a ministry in my own name because of the temptation to start believing I am doing things instead of the Lord through me. This is still true today. A few years ago I started a Facebook page called Be A Light for Him and it has a whopping 4 followers! Whether that is due to shadow banning or timing or both I have no idea but over the past few days the Lord has been dealing with me to start posting again but only to that page. When I asked Him why, He told me that it was to have a different focus than All About God. It will still have the SOAPs that people have grown fond of (Thank You!) but will have prophetic words the Lord gives me, teaching more along the lines of how the Supernatural interacts with the Natural and what Practical Christianity really means. When I asked Him why the change in focus, He reminded me of a conversation I had with one of my daughters one day who asked me where I thought we were in the End Times timeline. I immediately said that I thought we were in the Church of Laodicea, the lukewarm Church (Revelation 3:14-19). The Lord then stepped in and corrected me and said No. I asked Him why and He said to me, look at my Church now and the passions that are flowing especially in the political realm, they are not lukewarm, just misguided in where that passion should be focused. Again I asked Him, okay where are we then? And He answered, you are in the Church of Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6). I admit I had to go look that one up because I couldn’t remember which one that was. Sardis is the Church that knows the Name of the Lord but refuses to walk in the power of the Lord. Think about it like this, on Sunday we do our “Church” thing, sing a few songs, listen to a 20 minute sermon that we forget 20 minutes later and go on with our lives thinking we are okay, we pray when things really get bad but otherwise tell the Lord we will call again when we need Him. It is not about relationship, it is about religion and that is where many American churches are today. But there is hope! He also tells us that He has a remnant that will arise and will be ushered into the next Church which is Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13), which walks in power, hence the need for teaching the Supernatural part of the Bible that we have ignored. If you have read the prophetic words I have been given over the years you will know that the Lord has been talking about the Greater Glory (Haggai 2:9) which I believe is about to fall on the Church and change the world.
