Friends of Hudson Youth Were neighbors making Hudson a better place to grow up. The Friends of Hudson Youth raises financial support for and community awareness of programs that engage girls and boys in sports creative expression and academic enrichment under the auspices of the Hudson Youth Department. In a place with a large underresourced population the citys Hudson Youth Department provides essential services through an afterschool program a summer day camp sports leagues and other activities. These address tangible vital needsnot only for childcare and recreation but also for academic emotional nutritional and social support.
