Choices Our Story Choices was formed by a diverse group of professionals across multiple disciplines inclusive of thriving lived experience members who are deeply passionate about strengthening the care continuum for adolescents in recovery. Our board chair Billy Beers spearheaded this effort forming the core team and engaging critical partnerships that launched this important initiative. Collectively we took a deep dive into research and communitybased assessments to support and inform the framework of the care we provide. We take a holistic comprehensive communitydriven approach to program design that is equitybased recovery oriented culturally and linguistically sensitive rooted in evidencebased practices adhere to a zerobarrier policy and follow a harm reduction model of intervention.
