Meet Latevia Priddy, the newly appointed Vice President of the GAWL Leadership Committee. Latevia brings an incredible depth of experience to this role. A Kentucky native, she began her legal career by founding her own firm, Priddy & Associates, and went on to practice in a wide range of areas—from family law and personal injury to civil rights and business consulting. Since moving to Georgia, she has served in the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office and now practices insurance defense with Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, P.A. Most recently, she was appointed Judge, Pro Tem with the Fulton County Juvenile Court. As GAWL’s Leadership VP, Latevia will guide the Leadership Committee, which coordinates empowering programs like The Leadership Academy and The Leader Within, helping women lawyers develop their voices and claim leadership roles in their professions and communities. She will be assisted by two amazing co-chairs, Colette Reed and Melaney LaGrone. Latevia embodies excellence, integrity, and a deep commitment to service. Meet Nicole Katapodis, the newly appointed Co-Chair of the GAWL Communications Committee. Nicole is an associate at BakerHostetler, where she focuses her legal practice on healthcare law and regulatory compliance. She regularly advises clients on changes of ownership and Medicare recovery audit matters, bringing sharp attention to detail and a clear understanding of complex regulatory landscapes. As Co-Chair, Nicole works closely with Whitney Rollins, our VP of Communications, to lead one of GAWL’s most vital teams. The Communications Committee manages all of GAWL’s outreach, from email blasts and social media to press releases, publications, the GAWL Listserv, and the event calendar.
