Yesterday, RRCA students in the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy spent time at a local retirement home, hosting a fun-filled bingo game for the residents! Residents played for the chance to win one of the fun prize baskets thoughtfully put together by our students. Colin Russell has been named the TAPPS 4A State Fine Arts Male Student of the Year! At RRCA, Colin is an active member of the Choir, Musical Theater, and the Speech & Debate team. He is being recognized for his outstanding achievements in state-level fine arts competitions, including solo, ensemble, and choir performances, as well as interpretation and acting events in Speech & Debate. This year, Colin has showcased his talents in RRCA’s Fine Arts Showcase, the Christmas Concert, and most recently, the Spring Show, where he starred as Scar in The Lion King. Colin will be honored at the annual TAPPS State Convention in Waco this June. Congratulations, Colin! (fb)
