💛 Wednesday June 4 is our 5th Annual Day of Dedication 💛 In April we received a letter from an Elementary Camper named Noah—read his letter below and see why camp is so important for children. From : Noah Hello Camp Johnsonburg When I was at camp last year I learned a lot of things! I learned that you should reflect on the good miracles in the world that God gave us. I learned I can be myself around the people I love. When we listened to people’s feelings at karaoke night. I plan to keep going there until I grow up and become a counselor. I’m learning to make those bracelets kind of. Johnsonburg is a place where I can let out my feelings. The first day I started going there the last day I cried for a long time because I wanted to go back. PS Make sure Eka is safe because he is so friendly the monster in the lake might want to be his friend. Love all of you. God has a lot of miracles and this camp is one of them. This time I might be able to bring my saxophone. Please send me a note back. And we did send Noah a note back, expressing how excited we were to have him back this summer! We are unsure where he heard about a monster in the lake but rest assured Glover's Pond is monster free and open for swimming, boating and fishing! This year, our goal is to raise $70,000 for camp scholarships—because every child deserves the chance to experience the joy, growth, and belonging that camp brings.
