Welcome to the FAS Winslow’s Warriors Club, Alice! Yesterday, we took in this pretty girl who was found by a Good Samaritan. The person who found her knew she was sick so he took her to a vet. She is jaundice and has excess fluids in her abdomen. Diagnosis, FIP. Her rescuer was desperate to find help for her and when he contacted us we didnt hesitate and said YES, we can help her! We immediately started her on FIP protocol, she took her first injection like a champ and is the sweetest. At only about a year old, Alice is fighting for her life and we will help her every step of the way. Alice will be on FIP medication, GS-441524, for the next 84-112 days. The medication is not cheap and we are still treating Lonnie as well who is rocking it! We rely on donations to our Winslow’s Warriors Emergency Medical Fund to purchase the life saving medication. Can you help us? FIP is not a death sentence like it was just a few years ago.
