Wayfinder Open Source Project Wayfinder Open Source Project The Wayfinder Open Source Project has open source versions of the former WayfinderVodafone LBS platform including both backend and clients. Source code Wayfinder Systems provided smartphone navigation for millions of users with an endtoend solution including both a highly scalable LBS platform running on clusters of Linux servers as well as clients running on the then common smartphone platforms. When the company was closed down by the owner Vodafone they provided permission and support to release the solution as open source software.
