Our Mission Our Mission is to protect unwanted abandoned neglected or slaughterbound horses and their animal friends by saving caring for and rehabilitating animals in need and when possible placing them in compatible loving homes where they can lead contented and productive lives. Our Sanctuary is available for those animals that need us most. LHER believes that compassion and education are the longterm solutions to improving the lives of all equines.
