Key Findings: - The study detected elevated levels of PFOA, PFOS, and perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS) in the drinking water and blood of residents in a community impacted by contamination from a nearby paper mill landfill. - The study found that the primary predictor of PFAS levels in blood was the source of drinking water, with levels increasing for each additional year of consumption.
