It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and BGCSA is proud to announce we are the Boys & Girls Clubs of America winner for the Roxanne Spillett Honor Award in the category of Trauma Informed Practice & Youth Wellbeing. Our unique Resiliency Restored program, now in its 3rd year, provides early intervention mental health services to all our Club kids ages 6-18, at no cost. Working with licensed professional counselors, most of our Club kids report a decrease in anxiety and/or depression, and our staff see and feel the difference. We are proud of this program, proud of the hard work our youth are doing, and grateful to accept the Roxanne Spillett Honor Award! (fb)

As our last day of school programming comes to a close, we want to wish our club members and community a safe and happy summer. Our buildings and fields will be full again in just two weeks to kickoff our summer program on June 9th! (fb)
