It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and BGCSA is proud to announce we are the Boys & Girls Clubs of America winner for the Roxanne Spillett Honor Award in the category of Trauma Informed Practice & Youth Wellbeing. Our unique Resiliency Restored program, now in its 3rd year, provides early intervention mental health services to all our Club kids ages 6-18, at no cost. Working with licensed professional counselors, most of our Club kids report a decrease in anxiety and/or depression, and our staff see and feel the difference.
