Our MissionTo advance police administration and crime prevention to develop and disseminate improved administrative and technical practices to foster cooperation and the exchange of information among North Carolina police executives to promote enlistment and training to encourage high professional standards to secure unity in police matters to elevate standards for police institutions and to promote police efficiency. Our PurposeThe purpose of the North Carolina Police Executives Association shall be to advance the science and art of police administration and crime prevention to develop and disseminate improved administrative and technical practices and promote their use in police work to foster police cooperation and the exchange of information and experience among executives throughout North Carolina to bring about enlistment and training in the police profession of qualified persons to encourage adherence of all police officers to high professional standards to secure unity of action in police matters to advance and elevate the standard of police institutions and the recognition thereof by the general public to secure the adoption and enforcement of laws pertaining to the detection and prevention of crime and to promote police efficiency in general.
