Our organization was created in 2006 to address the desperate need for an authentic youth voice in policy-making in Rhode Island. Young Voices is a Rhode Island-based non-profit organization that transforms urban youth into powerful advocates who have a voice in every aspect of their lives.

YOUNG VOICES TRANSFORMS URBAN YOUTH INTO POWERFUL ADVOCATES WHO HAVE A VOICE IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES. Power ToThe Youth We believe that youth can only achieve selfactualization when they play the most important role at every stage of the organizing process. Young Voices uniquely involves students in its highest levels of decision making from leading our policy initiatives and facilitating community discussions to serving on our Board of Directors.
