🌎 Happy Earth Day Reproductive justice and climate justice are inseparable. Climate catastrophe hits hardest in the South and in communities already facing systemic oppression—Black, Brown, Indigenous, low-income, and immigrant communities are often the first and worst impacted. Climate change inhibits the ability for people to have control over their healthcare decisions, including abortion and reproductive care, nurture their families in safe environments, or access a growing scarcity of resources.

HB 5510 (and it's counterpart SB 2880) is a dangerous bill that risks creating a de facto TRAVEL BAN for abortion care. This bill doesn’t punish the person seeking an abortion, BUT it punishes EVERYONE who helps them.
