Eaglet Rescue: It began with the storm and the Bald Eagle’s nest that was blown to the ground. Tami and Kyle rescued the one living and one deceased eaglet from the destroyed nest. The eaglet safely rested, was rehydrated and fed at Wildside Rehab Center over the weekend. On Monday, Dr Bill Bowerman, Tami and a DNR team banded and renested the eaglet with a new family that had 3 other eaglets in a nest in Ottawa county. Mom eagle flew overhead and kept a watchful eye. The DNR will monitor the nest. Wildside is privileged to care for and release Bald Eagles. #baldeagle #wildside #wildliferehabilitation #renest #michiganwildlife #rescue #eaglets (fb)
