🦅 This past Wednesday, our CLAW and Green Tech interns learned how to raise a Tipi! Youth walked to the park to meet up with our CLAW staff and friend Isaac Weston (Oglala Lakota) to learn some teachings about our Tipi's. While putting up the tipi, youth learned about our connection to Mother Earth, the Star Nation, how women are the backbone of our societies, and how each tipi pole has a teaching about our values and how we uphold them as Native people. Phidmayaye to Isaac, our CLAW staff, and of course, our youth for such a wonderful day! (fb)
