This week at Harvest House we embraced so many foster mom stories. We heard… “I’m getting a new foster son. He has been homeless and abused, and we can’t wait to let him know how much he is loved.” “My heart hurts for my foster children’s biological parents. Are they supported? Do they have the resources they need to get their children back?” “We called the social worker. We are trying to get little guy out of the shelter and into our home.” “Adoption day is around the corner! Next court hearing, she should be forever ours.” This little place called Harvest House continues to be a safe haven for our island’s foster community. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and this cause is close to our hearts. 💙 At Harvest House, we’re here to be a safe haven—a place where foster children and teens on Guam can grow physically, socially, mentally, and spiritually. . Abuse prevention isn’t just a campaign—it’s a daily commitment. It looks like listening, showing up, and creating a space for healing and hope. .
