Housing First is a homeless assistance approach that prioritizes providing or maintaining permanent housing to people experiencing or atrisk of homelessness thus ending their homelessness and serving as a stable place from where they can pursue personal goals and improve their quality of life. IncomeBased Permanent Housing In partnership with the states Project Homekey and the Housing Authority of San Bernardino County Mountain Homeless Coalition purchased property in Big Bear Lake in November 2020. The property is comprised of eight units and houses our clients both individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
